Find answers to common questions about our product

How long does it actually stay cold?
Freeze the gel pack, drop it in, and it holds a safe fridge range for about 6–8 hours — enough for a full travel day of errands, a flight, or a road trip. When you reach your destination, you re-chill the gel pack and you're set for the next leg. For a day of travel, it keeps your medication protected and lets you see that it did.

Will it freeze my medication?
No — the case is built to keep your medication off the frozen gel pack, so there's no direct contact with the coldest surface. And because the temperature display is right on the front, you can see at a glance if it's ever drifting too cold, so freezing never catches you by surprise. That's the whole point: you're not trusting it blind, you can see the temperature the entire time.

Do I really need this if my medication is fine at room temperature?
Even when your medication can sit at room temp for a while, that's only true if it never got too hot or too cold along the way — and out on a trip, you have no way to know if it did. A hot car or a bag in the sun can push it out of range, and the damage doesn't show. This isn't about keeping it colder; it's about being able to see that it stayed safe, instead of using it and hoping. For a lot of people, that certainty is the difference.

Is it TSA-friendly for flights?
Yes — it's compact, carry-on ready, and fits easily in a bag or personal item. Medically necessary items like insulin and other injectables are allowed through security; we recommend bringing a doctor's note just in case. The gel pack travels fine too. We'd always suggest checking current TSA guidelines before you fly, since rules can change, but the case itself is designed to travel with you through the airport without hassle.

How long does shipping take?
Shipping usually takes 8–12 days, depending on location.

How many ice packs come with it?
Each case includes 2 reusable gel ice packs, so you can keep one chilling in the freezer while the other is in use — handy for back-to-back travel days.

Will medication fit if I use pens, vials, or pre-filled syringes?
Yes — the case is designed to hold most standard insulin pens, GLP-1 pens, vials, and syringes, with an elastic strap to keep everything secure and a separate mesh pocket so items don't shift or press against each other in transit.

Is the case durable and water-resistant?
The hardshell EVA exterior is built to protect against drops, pressure, and light moisture — it's not fully waterproof, so we don't recommend submerging it, but it holds up well against rain, spills, and everyday travel wear.

What if the temperature display stops working?
The display runs on a small replaceable battery, and the case still functions as an insulated cooler even if the display ever needs a new one. If yours arrives faulty, reach out and we'll replace it under warranty.

What's your return policy?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — if you're not happy, ship it back within 30 days for a full refund, or skip the return entirely and we'll refund 25% while you keep the case. Reach out at waynorth.store@gmail.com to get started.
